唐代：温庭筠
一尺深红胜曲尘，天生旧物不如新。(胜曲尘一作：蒙曲尘)
译文：一袭深红色的长裙日子久了便蒙上了淡黄色，自古以来旧的东西就比不得新的东西讨人喜欢。
注释：一尺深红：即一块深红色丝绸布。古代妇人之饰；或即女子结婚时盖头的红巾，称“盖头”。曲尘：酒曲上所生菌，因色微黄如尘，亦用以指淡黄色。此处意谓，红绸布蒙上了尘土，呈现出酒曲那样的暗黄色。
合欢桃核终堪恨，里许元来别有人。
译文：你我原本应该像合欢核桃一样坚贞不移，哪里想到你的心里原来已经有了别人，让我对你终究有了恨意。
注释：合欢桃核：是夫妇好合恩爱的象征物。桃核：桃为心形，核同合音，可以像喻两心永远相合。里许：里面，里头。许，语助词。元来：即“原来”。人：取“仁”的谐音。
井底点灯深烛伊，共郎长行莫围棋。
译文：深夜里点亮烛火深深的嘱咐你，此去路途遥远不要忘了归期。
注释：深烛：音谐深嘱，此处用的是谐音双关的修辞手法，写女子“深嘱”情郎。伊：人称代词，“你”。长行：长行局，古代的一种博戏，盛行于唐。这里用此博戏的名称双关长途旅行。围棋：中国传统棋种。此处用“围棋”与“违期”的谐音，劝“郎”莫要误了归期。
玲珑骰子安红豆，入骨相思知不知。
译文：小巧精致的骰子上嵌入那意喻相思的红豆，相思入骨你是否知道？
注释：玲珑：精巧貌。骰子：博具，相传为三国曹植创制，初为玉制，后演变为骨制，因其点着色，又称色子；为小立方体块状，六个面上分别刻有从一到六不同数目的圆点，其中一、四点数着红色，其余点数皆着黑色。这骰子上的红点，即被喻为相思的红豆。

温庭筠（约812—866）唐代诗人、词人。本名岐，字飞卿，太原祁（今山西祁县东南）人。富有天才，文思敏捷，每入试，押官韵，八叉手而成八韵，所以也有“温八叉”之称。然恃才不羁，又好讥刺权贵，多犯忌讳，取憎于时，故屡举进士不第，长被贬抑，终生不得志。官终国子助教。精通音律。工诗，与李商隐齐名，时称“温李”。其诗辞藻华丽，秾艳精致，内容多写闺情。其词艺术成就在晚唐诸词人之上，为“花间派”首要词人，对词的发展影响较大。在词史上，与韦庄齐名，并称“温韦”。存词七十余首。后人辑有《温飞卿集》及《金奁集》。
