译文
在边庭上望不见归处，客居万里心中充满忧愁。
山中之路依然向南断续绵延，黄河之源从北面流来。
晚风中夹杂着寒气，弯月照耀着边塞的秋景。
火灶通向军营的墙壁，报警的烽火飘上嘹望楼。
在边疆只要奋力作战，就会像班超一样得到封侯。
不要作兰山下投降的李陵，平白地让大汉帝国蒙受羞辱。

次：在途中停留。
蒲类津：渡口名，在唐庭州蒲类县，今属新疆。
二庭：指匈奴的南庭、北庭。
客心：旅人之情，游子之思。
南属：向南延伸。
朔气：北方的寒气。
边秋：秋天的边塞。
军壁：军营周围的防守工事。
烽烟：烽火台报警之烟。
戍（shù）楼：边防驻军的嘹望楼。
龙庭：即龙城，汉代匈奴的政治中心。这里借指边塞突厥族的政治中心。
燕颔（hàn）：形容相貌威武，有封侯之相。颔：下巴。
兰山：兰皋山。

夕次蒲类津创作背景
这首诗大约作于薛仁贵兵败大非川以后，诗人随军征战到蒲类津，夜晚就地宿营时有感而发，将眼前景、心中情诉诸笔端，写下这首诗。

诗歌以低沉的慨叹开头：“二庭归望断，万里客心愁”，说明此次战争进展的不顺利，未能旗开得胜，不能凯旋；归期遥遥，不能不令人哀愁。这里的“愁”不仅仅是个人的思亲念友恋乡，更主要是战争的发展形势无法令人乐观。敏感而富有侠气的诗人，不能不为国家和民族而担忧哀愁。“山路犹南属，河源自北流”，这两句并不完全是状物写景，而兼有比兴之意，内涵极其丰富复杂。自南来的山路还条条连着中原土地，通往京城。而离家万里的GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>征人，眼望着归路不能归，却还要像北去的流水一样不断向前开拔；另一方面黄河源头的水流千里，据说还潜行地下，但终归流向了中国的腹地。GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>征人们的心也如同这流水一般，不论奔赴哪里，始终系念着祖国家园，这是天性使然。诗人浮想联翩，构思奇特，措词朴实自然。“晚风连朔气，新月照边秋”，抒写的是GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>征人眼中的景色，渲染出一种边塞战场特有的悲凄、肃杀气氛。“灶火通军壁，烽烟上戍楼”，这里利用细节描写给人身临其境之感。行军的路上，灶火连成一片，营垒相接，声势浩大。这里没有直接写人的活动，但千军万马已跃然纸上。传递战报的烽烟直逼戍楼，一个“上”字，战火之紧急不言而喻。这两句诗照应题目，描绘出蒲类津宿营的真实状况。“龙庭但苦战，燕颔会封侯”，写交战前夜诗人的情感。汉班超曾在蒲类津打过仗，在西域立下不朽的功勋。诗人渴望能出现班超式的英勇人物，克敌制胜，赢得功名利禄。结尾“莫作兰山下，空令汉国羞”是借汉李陵战败投敌之事表示宁死不屈的气概。按《旧唐书·薛仁贵传》记载，将军郭待封尝为鄯城镇守，但为耻居薛仁贵之下，不听从薛仁贵指挥，以致贻误战机，一败涂地。这首诗也有影射此事之意。
诗人产生的愁苦情怀，不仅是思归念家的情愫，更是对国家边塞境况的忧虑以及由此而激发的奋起迎敌、苦战到底的决心，不无针砭现实的意义。这首五言诗，以其积极的思想内容和完美的艺术形式，历来被诗论家所称道。其次诗人善于用典，恰如其分地表达了诗人崇尚勇武、渴望建功、不耻降低职务等复杂而丰富的思想感情。全诗情感强烈，笔势波澜起伏，大笔勾勒与工笔刻画相得益彰。

骆宾王（约619—约687年）字观光，汉族，婺州义乌人（今浙江义乌）。唐初诗人，与王勃、杨炯、卢照邻合称“初唐四杰”。又与富嘉谟并称“富骆”。高宗永徽中为道王李元庆府属，历武功、长安主簿，仪凤三年，入为侍御史，因事下狱，次年遇赦，调露二年除临海丞，不得志，辞官。有集。骆宾王于武则天光宅元年，为起兵扬州反武则天的徐敬业作《代李敬业传檄天下文》，敬业败，亡命不知所之，或云被杀，或云为僧。
