她的美好的青春年华就这样白白的浪费在饮酒作乐之中，太可惜了！每当追忆起过去放荡不羁的生活，只觉得这样的漫长，朝夕忧虑烦闷。谁能去花街柳巷找到她，细细诉说我这里的情况，让她知道，我因为对她魂牵梦绕、苦苦想念，渐渐觉得精神萎靡不振。
要知道，良辰美景和心中所思念的事是最不易得到的。只愿我的虫虫姑娘心里明白，在接待客人时，始终要像是初次相识一样，不要陷得太深。何况正逢容颜娇艳的青春年华，更要好好珍重。要是有京试考场消息，即刻返回，这次我将好好的爱你，更不轻易分开了。
注释
征部乐：词牌名，柳永《乐章集》注“夹钟商”，双调一百六字，上片九句六仄韵，下片十句五仄韵。
雅欢幽会：指男女因相爱而私自约会。元稹《莺莺传》：“幽会未终，惊魂已断。”
良辰：指欢会之时。
狂踪旧迹：指过去浪荡放纵的生活。
只恁（nèn）：只是这样。辛弃疾 《卜算子·饮酒不写书》：“万札千书只恁休，且进杯中物。”
花衢（qú）：即花街。指妓院。 朱有炖 《神仙会》第二折：“自惜青春，误落花衢作妓人。”
端的：早期白话，意为究竟，到底。《西游记》第七四回：“端的是什么妖精，他敢这般短路。”
向：语助词，怎奈，怎向。
厌厌：疲倦，精神不倦。
役梦劳魂：即“魂牵梦绕”。
虫虫：妓女名，又名虫娘。柳永曾在多首词中提及此名，她可能与柳永保持了相当长时间的爱情关系。
举场：科举考试京试的考场。

柳永与青楼女子关系密切，但多是填词讨润笔的关系，只有与个别女子如师师、香香、安安，尤其是虫虫，是才子和红颜知己的关系。后来柳永科场失意，不得以离开京城游历四方，与虫虫分别。此词是作于柳永欲离开汴京，与虫虫分别的时候。

词的上片抒写了自己羁旅漂泊的辛酸和对虫虫深深的思念。为了求取功名柳永不得不离开自己深爱的女子浪迹天涯，尝尽了漂泊无依、人生蹉跎的苦涩，此番进京，思及所爱，自然百感交集，情不能自已，所以词作一上来就慨叹：“雅欢幽会”不再有了，多少美好的时光都在羁旅漂泊中“虚抛掷”了，值得注意的是，柳永离京漫游，一个最重要的目的是寻找仕进之路，而今进京也还是为了在科场上一试锋刃，但在他内心深处，对“雅欢幽会”却仍是念念不忘，且以为功名误人，漫游拜谒是浪费时光，再联想到他当初名落孙山时发出的惊世骇俗之语：“才子词人，自是白衣卿相”、“忍把浮名，换了浅斟低唱”（《鹤冲天·黄金榜上》）。一方面，他是一个汲汲进用的士子；另一方面，他又是一个耽于世俗之乐的市井浪人。正是这种矛盾，导致了柳永一生的悲剧命运，使他每回忆起从前恣情狂荡的生活，都万般留恋。接下来，“愁闷朝夕”一句写追悔之情，说自己自从和虫虫分别之后从早到晚都是愁满心头。并且，从此句后一句开始至词尾，都是设想之辞。“凭谁去”四句说希望有人能替自己向虫虫讲述分别之后的“役梦劳魂苦相忆”之情。但就是这托人传信的愿望也难以实现，所以词中说“凭谁去”。其中的悲哀与无奈令人心折。
词的下片是柳永对所爱之人虫虫的婉转告白，过片“须知最有”三句说虫虫的心思难以理解，希望虫虫珍惜两人之间那份难得的感情。“但愿我、虫虫心下”二句，则是希望虫虫不要再结交他人，而忘了自己，用语含蓄婉转。“把人看待，长以初相识”二句是说虫虫不要与别人有过深的交往，就像对初相识的人应付下就可以了。以下，“况”字领起的二句是对虫虫的安慰和劝勉：春闱就要开了，我一定会科场夺魁。“待这回、好好怜伊，更不轻离拆”三句，郑重的承诺和着万般柔情喷薄而出。
柳永在这首词中，表达了对虫虫深深的思念，和对其真挚而专一的爱情的期待。他们一个是游子，一个是歌妓，特殊的身世，决定了他们对纯真恋情的向往和依赖，但特殊的身世，也注定了他们之间的感情往往无结果，或以悲剧的形式告终。这种悲哀与无奈，构成了柳永歌妓情词的主旋律。

柳永，（约987年—约1053年）北宋著名词人，婉约派代表人物。汉族，崇安（今福建武夷山）人，原名三变，字景庄，后改名永，字耆卿，排行第七，又称柳七。宋仁宗朝进士，官至屯田员外郎，故世称柳屯田。他自称“奉旨填词柳三变”，以毕生精力作词，并以“白衣卿相”自诩。其词多描绘城市风光和歌妓生活，尤长于抒写羁旅行役之情，创作慢词独多。铺叙刻画，情景交融，语言通俗，音律谐婉，在当时流传极其广泛，人称“凡有井水饮处，皆能歌柳词”，婉约派最具代表性的人物之一，对宋词的发展有重大影响，代表作 《雨霖铃》《八声甘州》。
