凉露湿衣风拂面。坐爱清光，分照恩和怨。苑柳宫槐浑一片。长门西去昭阳殿。
蝶恋花·月到东南秋正半鉴赏
借用宫词的体裁，以寓对“君国”的情思。封建宫廷中，专制君主和GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>宫人的关系，纯粹是主奴关系，GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>宫人们仰承君主的鼻息，盼望能得到恩宠，这与文人们希冀进入朝廷，谋取官位是一致的，所以历来文人宫词中的宫怨，实质上也就是文人失意时的怨愤。作于1908年秋。
月亮转到东南方的天中，正是秋半时候在宫殿的双阙中间，银河在浩荡奔流。是谁人起来在水精帘下窥看？只听到晚风吹送来隐隐的箫管之声。凉露沾湿了她的衣裳，西风拂面。她自个儿在欣赏明月的清光———分别照着宫中两处的承恩和孤怨。苑中的杨柳和宫里的槐树，望去连成一片，唉，长门宫西去就是昭阳殿了。
清秋时分的孤寂情思。这阕词用语深沉冷艳，“银汉”、“水精帘”、“凉露”、“清光”尽是冷的意象，表达了词人内心一片冰封的茫茫世界。静安先生常用这样的语句来搭建心中的“理想国”，愿常住于此，隔绝红尘，这是词人对自己人格精神的忠诚恪守，对“般若境界”的孜孜追求，诚如饶宗颐《人间词话平议》评云：“拳拳忠悃”，让人唏嘘不已。
