译文
门外子规鸟叫个不停，日落时分山村中仍旧幽梦不断。
即便故园没有战火，但国土沦丧，南北分裂，已是亡国奴的我就是能回故乡也是颇为犯愁的事。
注释
京师：指北宋都城汴梁。
子规：杜鹃鸟的别名。传说为 蜀 帝 杜宇 的魂魄所化。常夜鸣，声音凄切，故借以抒悲苦哀怨之情。《埤雅·释鸟》：“杜鹃，一名子规。” 唐 杜甫 《子规》诗：“两边山木合，终日子规啼。”
故园：旧家园；故乡。 唐 骆宾王 《晚憩田家》诗：“唯有寒潭菊，独似故园花。”兵马：士兵和军马，借指战争，战事。 唐杜甫 《出郭》诗：“故国犹兵马，他乡亦鼓鼙。”

这首诗当是陈与义于南宋建立之前的作品。
送人归京师鉴赏
这首诗中有寄托、感慨、讽喻之意，有伤离感乱之情，同时对于现实表现了强烈的不满。
此诗先是描写了门外子规鸟叫个不停，让人真切的感受到诗人强烈的故乡之思，然后又通过日落时分山村中那幽梦不断的场景的描写，暗示诗人被深重的痛苦所困扰。既然只是因为思念故土，而惆怅失意，当然要解除这一烦恼的最好方式是能回一次故乡。但摆在诗人面前的现实是：即便故园没有战火，但国土沦丧，南北分裂，已是亡国奴的诗人就是能回故乡也是颇为犯愁的事。送友归京，触景生情，心生忧国之愁。
诗中“子规”意象的含义：思念故土，有家难归的悲伤。杜鹃鸟，俗称布谷，又名子规、杜宇、子鹃。传说为蜀帝杜宇的魂魄所化。常夜鸣，声音凄切，故借以抒悲苦哀怨之情。古诗中常出现“子规”这个意象。如“又闻子规啼夜月，愁空山”（李白《蜀道难》），“杜鹃啼血猿哀鸣”（白居易《琵琶行》），“可堪孤馆闭春寒，杜鹃声里斜阳暮”（秦观《踏莎行·郴州旅舍》），“杨花落尽子规啼，闻道龙标过五溪”（李白《闻王昌龄左迁龙标遥有此寄》）。
诗中“故园便是无兵马”与“犹有归时一段愁”两句看似矛盾，其实并不矛盾。这两句的意思是：即使家乡已无兵马战乱，但归家之路仍愁绪万千。愁是因为战争。诗人这两句看似矛盾的话，突出了诗人对战争留下的悲痛及现实的不满，表达了一种思念故土，有家难归的悲伤之情。

陈与义(1090-1138)，字去非，号简斋，汉族，其先祖居京兆，自曾祖陈希亮迁居洛阳，故为宋代河南洛阳人（现在属河南）。他生于宋哲宗元祐五年(1090年)，卒于南宋宋高宗绍兴八年(1138年)。北宋末，南宋初年的杰出诗人，同时也工于填词。其词存于今者虽仅十余首，却别具风格，尤近于苏东坡，语意超绝，笔力横空，疏朗明快，自然浑成，著有《简斋集》。
