译文
满地凝结着寒霜，浓得像覆上一层白雪。人们立在西风中话别，瘦马也向着残月不断悲鸣。送别时，《阳关》一曲犹未奏完，离人就已出发了。咿轧的车声仿佛应和着歌声，在痛苦地呜咽。
天涯芳草青青的颜色已换作枯黄，可是，陌头上深深的车辙依旧是我来时的模样。三句为前人未道之语。静安于是年春跟随罗振玉入京，数月后即奔丧回里。来去匆匆，情事已更，故深感人生之无常。这虚浮无定的人生，还有什么可说呢？在人间最令伤心的事莫过于离别了。
注释
霜华，此指严霜。因其每呈结晶状，故云。张祜《旅次上饶溪》诗：“秋竹静霜华。”
阳关，指《阳关三叠》曲。为古代送别的曲调。王维《送元二使安西》诗：“渭城朝雨浥轻尘，客舍青青柳色新。劝君更尽一杯酒，西出阳关无故人。”后来谱入乐府，即以诗中“渭城”或“阳关”名曲。
浮生，《庄子·刻意》：“其生若浮，其死若休。”老庄学说认为人生世事虚幻无定，故云。
耽（dān）：指沉溺、迷恋；也有停留、拖延、延误的含义。

蝶恋花·满地霜华浓似雪创作背景
光绪三十二年（1906）秋，静安曾奔父丧南归故里。这期间所写的诗词充满着悲凉的情调。本词写离别时的情景，残月出门，西风瘦马，词人不幸的遭遇加上他忧郁的天性，使他更感到人生的虚幻了。
