译文
歌妓纤长柔美貌，似乎头发蓬乱了一些，此时主人入宅更衣去了，只剩下这两人了。无缘无故地，一阵过堂风，刮灭了宴席上的蜡烛，彼此心心相许，爱慕之情已神会了。
真是让人悔恨啊，这恨没个完，直恨到星河被晨空吞噬了。情人之各去一方，那就只好在梦中相会了。
注释
①阮郎归：词牌名。又名《醉桃源》、《醉桃园》、《碧桃春》。唐教坊曲有《阮郎迷》，疑为其初名。
②袅袅（niǎo niǎo）：纤长柔美貌。
③翠鬟（huán）：青黑色发髻。鬟：指圈成环状之发髻。
④夜堂：夜中堂屋。
⑤无端：不料。
⑥殒（yǔn）秋风：被秋风吹灭。殒：灭也。
⑦“灵犀”句：谓两心因得相通也。灵犀：犀牛角，旧传有灵异。秦词灵犀代指两心。
⑧“星河”句：谓天将亮。
⑨陇（lǒng）头流水：喻情人之各去一方。陇头：陇山之巅。

阮郎归·宫腰袅袅翠鬟松创作背景
词当作于哲宗绍圣三年（1096）词人离处州将迁移郴州前。暮春时节，词人将要远离，为了表达自己内心的离愁，所以写下了这首词。

阮郎归·宫腰袅袅翠鬟松鉴赏
上片描写夜堂相爱的情形。起拍“宫腰”二句写出佳人的风姿及相逢。“无端”二句写相爱。“殒”字极好，“灵犀”用字含蓄。
下片感叹离别。过拍“身有恨”三句突转抒情，写出莫名的“恨”，并交待出“恨”的表面原因是“星河沉晓空”，实则怨恨欢爱的短暂。“陇头”二句点出“恨”的原因是离别，并抒发“佳期如梦”、欢会难再的慨叹。
结句对“佳期如梦”的感叹，再次点明往昔美好的约会带给词人难忘的幸福回忆，也反衬出如今佳期不再带给词人的强烈失落和浓浓感伤。
词人通过上、下阕两个不同场景的鲜明对比，将恋人间幽会的极度欢乐与离别的彻夜悲凉两相对照，凸显出心中的刻骨相思。
该词在用词上也十分有功底，例如“无端银烛殒秋风”，恐未必“无端”，抑或被人吹灭，不愿直言罢了。“殒”字好，把刮、吹、灭的一组动作都括进了，且含蓄形象。用“星河沉晓空”喻恨之大，之无可奈何，也是很新巧的。虽有“花间词”的香艳风味，但艳而不淫，含蕴有味。

秦观（1049-1100）字太虚，又字少游，别号邗沟居士，世称淮海先生。汉族，北宋高邮（今江苏）人，官至太学博士，国史馆编修。秦观一 生坎坷，所写诗词，高古沉重，寄托身世，感人至深。秦观生前行踪所至之处，多有遗迹。如浙江杭州的秦少游祠，丽水的秦少游塑像、淮海先生祠、莺花亭；青田的秦学士祠；湖南郴州三绝碑；广西横县的海棠亭、醉乡亭、淮海堂、淮海书院等。秦观墓在无锡惠山之北粲山上，墓碑上书“秦龙图墓”几个大字。有秦家村、秦家大院以及省级文物保护单位古文游台。
