殷勤移植地，曲槛小栏边。共约重芳日，还忧不盛妍。
阻风开步障，乘月溉寒泉。谁料花前后，蛾眉却不全。
失却烟花主，东君自不知。清香更何用，犹发去年枝。
梅花鉴赏
此诗题为《梅花》，却不是一首咏物诗，而是咏叹与梅花相关的人和事。据《全唐诗》载：“后主尝与周后移植梅花于瑶光殿之西，及花时，而后已殂，因成诗见意。”
此诗首联起句“殷勤移植”语，即指这次移植梅花之事；“移植地”便是“瑶光殿之西”的“曲槛小栏边”。李煜、周后（即昭惠皇后）都是极富雅趣之人，又凭着帝王皇后的特殊条件，便为自己的生活极力营造出优美的氛围。他们以销金红罗罩壁，以绿钿刷丝隔眼，糊以红罗，种梅花其外，兴之所至，便有了移植梅花之事。颔联写道“共约重芳日，还忧不盛妍”，意思是记得当时还曾担心，梅花“重芳日”，只恐“不盛妍”。唯其如此，颈联便接着说：“阻风开步障，乘月溉寒泉。”为了给梅花“阻风”，这两位形影相随的伴侣还特意为梅花牵开了漂漂亮亮、长长宽宽的“步障”；为了给梅花浇水，也还曾不辞“乘月”披星之劳。实指望来年能观赏到夫妻共同移植、一块浇灌的梅花的艳美风姿。可是，又有谁能料到花开前后，这正该供夫妻共赏同乐的美景良辰，而“蛾眉却不前”。尾联的这一慨叹，紧承在语流上逐层推进的前三联而发，于升至极高处的波峰浪尖，忽发哀音，跌入深潭，凄恻动人，给读者心灵以强烈冲击。

李煜，五代十国时南唐国君，961年-975年在位，字重光，初名从嘉，号钟隐、莲峰居士。汉族，彭城（今江苏徐州）人。南唐元宗李璟第六子，于宋建隆二年(961年)继位，史称李后主。开宝八年，宋军破南唐都城，李煜降宋，被俘至汴京，封为右千牛卫上将军、违命侯。后因作感怀故国的名词《虞美人》而被宋太宗毒死。李煜虽不通政治，但其艺术才华却非凡。精书法，善绘画，通音律，诗和文均有一定造诣，尤以词的成就最高。千古杰作《虞美人》、《浪淘沙》、《乌夜啼》等词。在政治上失败的李煜，却在词坛上留下了不朽的篇章，被称为“千古词帝”。
