楚人有涉江者，其剑自舟中坠于水。遽契其舟，曰：“是吾剑之所从坠。”舟止，从其所契者入水求之。舟已行矣，而剑不行，求剑若此，不亦惑乎！
刻舟求剑译文及注释
译文
楚国有个渡江的人，他的剑从船中掉到水里。他急忙在船边上用剑在掉下剑的地方做了记号，说：“这是我的剑掉下去的地方。”船到目的地后停了下来，这个楚国人从他刻记号的地方跳到水里寻找剑。 船已经航行了，但是剑没有行进，像这样寻找剑，不是很糊涂吗！

涉：过，渡。

于：在，到。
遽：急忙，立刻。
契：用刀雕刻，刻。
是：指示代词，这，这个，这儿，这样。
吾：我的。

矣：了。
而：然而，表转折。
若：像。
此：这样。
不亦惑乎：不是很糊涂吗？惑，愚蠢，糊涂。“不亦......乎”是一种委婉的反问句式。
