译文
懒得摇动白羽扇来祛暑，裸着身子呆在青翠的树林中。
脱下头巾挂在石壁上，任由松树间的凉风吹过头顶。
注释
裸袒（tǎn）：指诗人在青林里脱去头巾，不拘礼法的形态。青林：指山中树木苍翠、遮天蔽日。
脱巾：摘下帽子。
露顶：露出头顶。松风：松树间吹过的凉风。
夏日山中鉴赏
“懒摇白羽扇，裸袒青林中。”因为是夏天，所以有“白羽扇”；因为是山中，所以有扇而懒得摇。因为山林中过往的人烟稀少，诗人敢于脱去头巾，表现出悠然自得，不拘礼法的形象。句中通过“懒”、“裸”，突出了诗人在山中夏日乘凉的悠闹情趣描绘了一幅生动的夏日消闲图画。
“脱巾挂石壁，露顶洒松风。”诗人解下头巾，挂在山中的石壁上，多么凉爽宜人。袒胸露顶，栖身林下，大有解除尘累，反归自然的情趣。通过“脱”、“露”，来表达诗人无拘无束，向往自然的心情。“任”体现了诗人豪放不羁，任凭山风从头上吹过，表现出一种豁达、爽快的感觉。
全诗写出了作者在山林无拘无束，旷达潇洒，不为礼法所拘的形象，有魏晋风度。诗人忘情沉醉于“夏日山中”，悠悠然一种自乐自足的逍遥，特别是对个人情感的放纵与宣泄，可以说达到了极点。在《夏日山中》羽扇可以不摇，衣履可以不穿。“裸体青林中”，“露顶洒松风”更体现出诗人悠然自得，亲近自然的心情诗通过对诗人自身状态的描写，来突出夏天的炎热。同时借夏天炎热的环境，表达诗人无拘无束，在山林间豪放自如的状态。诗中在夏天炎热的环境下，对诗人状态的描写生动，别有一番悠然自得的闲趣。

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
