译文
白莲的纯洁，如同美人在夜晚梳妆去粉一样美丽。白莲挺立在清凉的月光下，萧萧的风声里，娇红都顾忌退避无踪的环境中。过去宫中美丽的太液池空了，动人的霓裳羽衣舞没有了，一切都不堪回首。虽然白莲高清的精魂尚在，但翠绿的荷叶已经残败，白莲花蕊也已坠落，水中一片凄凉萧瑟。
白莲凋谢后，尚有荷叶在清凉寒冷的夜里，遥远地漂泊在千里之外的水中。莲蓬萎落，采莲少女恨亦远，昔日的良辰美景都永远逝去了，现在只能在梦中重温。虽然盛时已经过去，秋日也已来临，但琼楼依旧不夜，广寒泛夜仙意尚留。莲花凋谢了，莲香散失了，秋深露凉，寒气逼人。
注释
水龙吟：词牌名，因李白诗“笛奏龙吟水”句，故名。又名《小楼连苑》《龙吟曲》等。双调一百零二字，上下片皆仄韵。
婵娟：美好的样子。
奁（lián）：古代盛梳妆用品的器具。
铅华：妇女化妆用的铅粉。
泠（líng）泠：清凉的样子。
萧萧：风声。
娇红敛避：红花失色之意。
太液池：指唐代大明宫内的太液池，曾内植白莲。
霓（ní）裳：即《霓裳羽衣舞》，简称《霓裳》。
舆（yú）：本谓车厢，后代指车。
玉簪（zān）：花名。开花约与白莲同时，花大如拳，色洁白如玉，蕊长似玉簪，故名。
凌空一叶：指荷叶摇荡空中。
珰（dāng）：古代女子的耳饰。
琼（qióng）楼：美玉砌成的高楼。
绡（xiāo）：薄纱。

水龙吟·浮翠山房拟赋白莲创作背景
南宋亡以后，西湖吟社在绍兴有过五次吟咏活动，浮翠山房便是吟咏活动其中一处地点。词人参加了此次吟咏活动，作下了这首词。

水龙吟·浮翠山房拟赋白莲鉴赏
《水龙吟·浮翠山房拟赋白莲》全篇围绕“白莲”。词人用笔把白莲作为一个淡妆少女描绘，是咏莲词中的一篇佳作。
上片“淡妆人更婵娟，晚奁净洗铅华赋”，从外部形象上写白莲本色。紧扣“白”字，花中有人，风姿绰约。“泠泠月色，萧萧风度，娇红敛避”，词人对首二句的描绘而进一步加以渲染、烘托。“泠泠”“萧萧”描绘了白莲的“淡妆”的同时也写出白莲的精神状态。向以红色娇媚与洗净铅华腻粉的白莲相比，却要“敛避”，以此说白莲之美，则不言而喻。至此为白莲所绘之彩之形，已形神俱得。“太液池空，霓裳舞倦，不堪重记”借典故来追述白莲受宠的史迹。《天宝遗事》载，唐明皇与杨贵妃共赏太液池中白莲，白居易《长恨歌》也有“太液芙蓉未央柳”的诗句。这些可惜已成历史陈迹，贵妃醉中舞《霓裳羽衣》，唐玄宗龙颜大悦。曾经的华美盛景，如今却一转为“空”“倦”。以“不堪重记”收束繁华往昔，点明白莲已凋、盛时已往的今朝。“叹冰魂犹在，翠舆难驻，玉簪为谁轻坠”反承“不堪”句意而来，又开一个层次转写眼前白莲的遭遇。“翠舆难驻”“玉簪轻坠”是指时序更换，指白莲凋零，狼藉池塘，众芳芜秽。
下片“别有凌空一叶，泣清寒、素波千里”以萧索景象为背景，写白莲凋落之后的景况。首先写“凌空一叶”立于千里清寒素波之上，笔意较为奇特。写莲房垂露，在梦里怀恋着它那过去的纷华。结合当时的时代背景来看，“凌空一叶”“素波”让读者不禁想起当时漂泊海上的南宋流亡政权。“泪湿”“恨远”形容白莲的凄苦，同时也可看作是暗指南宋彻底灭亡一事。“羽扇生秋，琼楼不夜，尚遗仙意”转写秋天月夜之下，残荷虽残，而“仙意”尚留。以“羽扇”句写秋，以“琼楼”句写月。奈香云易散，绡衣半脱，露凉如水。总括白莲凋残，虽然冰魂犹在，无奈香消衣脱，冷露凌逼，语调悲凉至极。
这是一首“长调词”，但构局开合多变，擒纵自如。起笔至“娇红敛避”，词人以散骈结合的笔法，描绘白莲形象；随之三句忽然另辟天地。“冰魂”三句，转笔收揽，而于下片换头再次转笔，作进一步推阐。用笔，曲折往复，卷舒之间，一无沾滞，显示了长调“构局贵变”的特点。从咏物的角度看，词人把“白莲”写得形神俱备，写白莲却无二字，寄慨亡国，却也幽极静极，这是一首意境深远的咏白莲词。
