译文
小鸭在池塘中或浅或深的水里嬉戏，梅子已经成熟了，天气半晴半阴。在这宜人的天气里，邀约一些朋友，载酒宴游了东园又游西园。风景如画，心情格外舒畅，尽情豪饮，有人已经醉醺醺了。园子里的枇杷果实累累，像金子一样垂挂在树上，正好都摘下来供酒后品尝。
注释
题原作“初夏”，作者原作“戴石屏”，据《宋诗钞·东皋集》改。
乳鸭：刚孵出不久的小鸭。
枇杷：植物名，果实球形，成熟时呈金黄色。味甜，可食。
初夏游张园创作背景
在南宋后期，戴复古与大多数江湖诗人一样，他浪迹江湖，足迹遍布东吴、浙西、襄汉、北淮及南越，几乎跑遍南宋全境。诗人于初夏之际，携酒游于张园。面对张园美丽的景色，因而创作此词。

初夏游张园鉴赏
《初夏游张园》属于田园诗，色调明丽，气氛热烈，意境优美，生活气息浓郁。这首诗写的是江南初夏时人们宴饮园林的生活情景。
题日“游”字，自然点出了诗人赏心悦目、情致勃勃的感受。张园的风光夺目生辉，引人入胜。“乳鸭”在时深时浅的水中戏游，“熟梅天气”似阴似晴，在诗人的眼里都是那样的富有情趣，增添了无限的游兴。诗中“半”字用得精妙，状写天气忽阴忽晴、变幻莫测的特点，至为准确；同时也传达了诗人的内心感受，迷离恍惚，朦朦胧胧。一树一树的梅子，熟透了，红褐色，硕大果．样子很是令人垂涎。
春末夏初，梅雨季节，江南的天气似阴还晴，变幻不定，那些机灵活泼的小鸭，成群结队，争先恐后地跳下水塘，不管水深水浅，自由自在游乐。池塘清波粼粼之上，游动着一个个淘气调皮的小精灵，池塘似阴似晴的上空回荡着嘎嘎欢叫的声音，好一派欢快、热闹的景象。诗人被张园的风光陶醉了。
诗歌前两句里，通过“乳鸭”、“熟梅”等景物，逼真地描绘了初夏的景致，读后使人感到真实生动。
一个“醉”字不仅状写果农欢饮至醉的情态，更折射出人们幸福快乐的心情。他们热爱生活，热爱家乡，他们勤劳能干，经营自己的生活，有滋有味，有声有色。焉能不醉？同时从读者、诗人这个角度来看，这个“醉”字，其实也流露出诗人、读者深深地被果园的气氛所感染，满心欢喜、无比幸福的感觉。“一树金”这种表达属于超常搭配，本来是一树枇杷，颗颗饱满，金黄灿烂，耀眼生辉，令人垂涎，诗人形象描绘为“一树金”，给人的感觉就是一树金子，一树丰收，一树欢悦。快乐洒在枇杷树上，欢笑回荡在果园上空，果农们欢天喜地，心花怒放啊!他们用最朴素的方式来表达自己的满足和幸福。
诗歌三、四两句就描写了果农丰收欢乐的生活情景。每一座果园都在庆贺丰收，那满树金黄色的枇杷，带给果农无限欢乐。年成好，果园丰收，理当庆贺，偌大园子，到处是欢笑的声音，到处是陶醉的笑容。

戴复古（1167—?)）南宋著名江湖派诗人。字式之，常居南塘石屏山，故自号石屏、石屏樵隐。天台黄岩（今属浙江台州）人。一生不仕，浪游江湖，后归家隐居，卒年八十余。曾从陆游学诗，作品受晚唐诗风影响，兼具江西诗派风格。部分作品抒发爱国思想，反映人民疾苦，具有现实意义。
