译文
巴陵长江侧岸的这堆石头，经历了万年的风浪，横卧成为白马驿。
江水奔涌，漩涡如电快速旋转，船棹激起的水珠在阳光下虹光灿烂。
裴侍御在水驿升堂，卷起绣帘，把刺绣的衣服赠送与我。
友情深厚，把所有的客套礼仪放在一边，为我带来了一片灿烂的阳光，温暖我流放途中感受的凄凉。
注释
《一统志》：鸭栏矶，在岳州临湘县东十五里。吴建昌侯孙虑作斗鸭栏于此。白马矶，在岳州巴陵县境。《湖广通志》：白马矶，在岳州临湘县北十五里。
刘公干诗：“明月照缇幕。”李善注：“缇，丹色也。”
绣衣，用《汉书》绣衣直指事。
避马，用《后汉书》桓典事。
御史为风霜之任，故曰霜威。
至鸭栏驿上白马矶赠裴侍御创作背景
这是李白在流放途中，经过现岳阳巴陵县的时候，遇到当时朝廷御史台（相当于今天的检察院）的裴侍御也在鸭栏驿，于是请李白上坐，送衣，问寒问暖。在李白特别需要外界支持的时候给予了深切的关怀。而这首诗正是在流放流放三千里的水路走了一年多途中所创作的。

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
