译文
紫燕这匹骏马有着黄金色的眼珠，马嘶鸣时摇动着它颈上那美丽的绿色鬃毛。
它一路奔驰，天刚亮的时候就到了长安洛门。
年少时学习剑术，剑术高超，白猿公败在少年的手下，飞上枝头化为一只猿猴。
少年穿着饰有珠宝的锦袍，腰间插着匕首和吴钩。
他自小一个人就有万人的英勇，如今腰间插有宝剑就更显雄风了。
与豪侠剧孟结为好友，二人一见如故，一同去新丰畅饮美酒。
少年志气豪猛，哪怕在都市中，杯酒之间就可以结束一个人的性命。
不要说易水寒冷如冰，看看今日白虹贯日，如此晴朗。
只可惜荆轲刺秦王没有成功，徒然死在秦宫之中。
像秦武阳那样的人如同死灰一样，跟他这样的人结交朋友，事情怎么会取得成功呢？
注释
紫燕：骏马的名称。
啾啾：马的鸣叫声。
洛门：指洛阳城门，汉代的长安城门。
凌轹（lì）：欺凌，辱蔑。
白猿公：这里运用了典故，越国的一名女子善于剑术，在路上遇见了一名老翁，他自称袁公，与女子比试剑术，没有胜利，而飞上树，变成了一只白色的猿猴。
吴鸿：宝剑，吴钩的代称。
剧孟：人名，汉代洛阳人，著名侠士。
日贯虹：白虹贯日，形容志气威猛。
武阳：指秦武阳，是荆轲的副手，见到秦王后特别惊恐，让秦王有所察觉。
结客少年场行创作背景
开元二十年（732年）正月，以朔方节度副大使礼知节度事。率兵讨契丹。于范阳之北大破两蕃之众。十月，玄宗到洛阳以北（今山西省一带）地区出巡，诏令巡幸所至，地方官员可将本地区贤才直接向朝廷推荐。
结客少年场行鉴赏
诗人一直有“安社稷，济苍生”的壮志雄心，但总不能如愿，于是在无奈中不期然发出不平之鸣。这首诗就是此种情况下的心声。
此诗塑造了一个剑术超过白猿公，纵横江湖的少年侠士形象。他剑术高强，却一直未能得到施展的机会，于是发出了愤恨激越的郁闷不平之鸣。
开首写少年所骑骏马的神骏与装饰之豪华，“平明”写少年在白天骑马相互驱驰，在洛门东结交朋友。接着，“少年”两句写其剑术超过传说中的白猿公，突出其剑术之高超。
接下来八句写其纵横江湖之勇猛形象。特别是“笑尽一杯酒，杀人都市中”两句，写尽了少年的豪侠形象。最后几句借荆轲刺秦事抒发内心的情感。与一般的咏叹荆轲刺秦的诗不一样的是，全诗没有出现荆轲的名字，但“缺场”的荆轲事实上是诗中的主角——诗人自己。诗人批评谋划行刺秦始皇失败的燕太子丹，是因为他没有给荆轲创造一个良好的施展身手的条件，反倒找来一个进入秦宫就面如死灰的秦舞阳，帮了倒忙，给剑客造成干正事的掣肘。
这种批评正好表现出诗人渴盼建功立业的豪情壮志。这首诗虽然有郁闷与不平，但依旧是那种扬厉雄健的风格，很好地表现了诗人的豪侠气质。

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
