春秋时期，大思想家孔子被人们认为天生的聪明，自从娘胎里出来就能对天下万事万物无所不知、无所不晓。学生把这种说法告诉孔子。孔子说世上没有生而知之的人，只有孜孜不倦地学习与研究才会懂得那么多的道理的。
