西汉时期，广汉学者董仲舒年少时读书非常刻苦，经常是夜以继日地读书，他的书房紧靠着姹紫嫣红的花园，他三年没有进过花园，甚至连一眼都没瞧过。后来他被征为博士，公开聚众讲学，弟子遍布四方。
