商朝末年，纣王荒淫无道、暴虐成性。手下的官员都是离心离德，军心涣散。周武王联合西部的八个诸侯，集结4万兵力，亲自率军征讨纣王。在出发前的誓师会上，他发表演讲，表示上下要同心同德，不消灭纣王誓不罢休。
