商朝初年，商汤外出，见野外有人张四面网网动物，他对天而祷告：“自天下四方，皆入吾网。”商汤笑着说：“可以了。”就命人去掉三面网，说：“想左就左，想右就右，一切都入网。”诸侯们听说后称赞商汤德行很高能自动网罗一切。
