筑台募士的典故
燕昭王即位后，为报齐国侵犯燕国之仇，“卑身厚币，以招贤者”。他专程向贤者郭隗请教，郭隗给他讲千金市马的故事后说：“今王诚欲致仕，先从隗始。”于是昭王为隗筑宫而拜师。后来乐毅、邹衍、剧辛等名士纷纷来投奔。
