克勤克俭的典故

尧帝时期，黄河经常发洪水，尧帝派鲧治水九年没有成效。舜帝派鲧的儿子禹去治水，禹告别新婚四天的妻子踏上治水的征途，治水13年，曾经3次路过家门而不回，终于取得了成就。舜认为禹能够克勤克俭地为人民服务就让位给他。
