唐朝初期，皇太子李建成与齐王李元吉妒忌秦王李世民的威望，联合密谋要杀害李世民。李世民得到密报，先下手为强，在玄武门出其不意杀死李建成、李元吉。他们的部下率军攻打玄武门，守将敬君弘挺身而出，英勇杀敌，最后壮烈牺牲。
