唐肃宗李亨时，杜甫当上八品言官“左拾遗”，因帮一个不该问罪的大臣说话而被李亨疏远，他很苦闷，到曲江边写诗散心。其中《曲江二首》中写道：“穿花蛱蝶深深见，点水蜻蜓款款飞。传语春光共流转，暂时相赏莫相违。”
