铤而走险的典故

春秋时期，晋灵公为扩大实力争当霸主，在扈地会合诸侯，他不愿与小国郑穆公见面，怀疑他对付自己。为缓和矛盾，郑国执政大夫子家给晋国执政大夫赵盾写信，信中表示愿意友好，国与国之间得以礼相待，而没必要造成双方铤而走险去打仗。
