画龙点睛的典故

唐·张彦远《历代名画记·张僧繇》：“金陵安乐寺四白龙不点眼睛，每云：‘点睛即飞去。’人以为妄诞，固请点之。须臾，雷电破壁，两龙乘云腾去上天，二龙未点眼者见在。”

张僧繇是梁朝著名的画师。有一次，皇帝命令他在金陵安乐寺的墙壁上画龙。不一会儿，两条栩栩如生的龙就出现在墙壁上了。这时皇帝发现这两条龙都没有眼睛，就问张僧繇这是为什么。张僧繇回答说：“画上眼睛的话，它们就会飞走的。”大家不信，皇帝一定要他画上眼睛，张僧繇只好给其中的一条龙点上了眼睛。霎时间，电闪雷鸣，那条龙真的飞走了。
