宁可玉碎，不能瓦全的典故
公元550年，东魏的孝静帝被迫让位给丞相高洋后被毒死。高洋同时还杀害他的儿子及所有亲属以斩草除根。后扬言杀他的远房宗族。元景皓表示“大丈夫宁可玉碎，不能瓦全。”宁愿被杀头也不愿改元姓高，被元景安告密遭到高洋的杀害。
